So, ..Martinez would turn down the chance to be P4P and earn 10-30 Million Dollars because he wouldn't fight Manny at 147 lbs.?
He has almost a year to prepare. Rehydration clause at 154 lbs. Martinez is the challenger and Pacquiao is the cash cow in this fight. The challenger needs to prove to the world his worth (to be the cash cow, P4P)
It's a win-win for Martinez. So fight Manny at 147 lbs. It's what the world "also" wants to see.

How about Martinez vs Cotto? Then after that, Martinez can face Pacquiao.
Why would the challenger (Martinez) gets the additional perk of fighting at 150. He's the challenger. After all, Mayweather should be more legitimate to fight Martinez, ..but PBF is not around/busy elsewhere. Manny is the one fighting for Floyd now, ..Manny is the proxy now for Floyd, to fight his fights.
So, Martinez would turn down 10-30 Million dollars (guess) 'cause he can't fight Pacquiao at 144-147 lbs?

Manny could fight him @ 147 lbs. Give Pacquiao a break he's the smaller guy.
After Mosley vs Pac; ...Martinez SHOULD face Tim Bradley first, and the winner faces Pacquiao @ 147 ...and not coming in the ring at 165-170 (in the case of Martinez).
But Tim Bradley always had headbutt issues.
