This reminds me of slaves, kids in this case because of the high voices, chained up while they are forced to work in the Inca/Aztec times, kind of like the temple of doom scenario on Indiana Jones.
i remember playing this as a kid, i would play world 1 and 2 over and over again and the first time i got to the ice world i got stuck on this huge level cuz the tires kept killing me XD
