@taranis1964 something called the closed beta or alpha version of the game. Its not released to the public and never will, this version was when spore was under development. The beta version had an extra water stage that is a mix between creature and cell stage... I think this is why a lot of people think this would be more fun... Anyways you are saying that all games have no testing stage? No beta stage? They just release it without even testing it and it has little to no bugs? fail...

They should of released the editors from this early version as one of the prototypes. This one looks much better than the released one, actually. It has better colors and textures, better part names and better everything.

Where do I get Spore at? I've been looking everywhere for it, but cannot find it. I've even been to the Spore WebSite and haven't found a way to recieve/buy this game? Do you know where I could get it at? I love Sims (Creator if Spore is Sims Creator), I love creation games. . . and this game sounds like the perfect game for me to play. I'm so excited about Spore! ^-^

Hiya, yea I am excited too.

1) The game should be out this Christmas (2008). Of course, I have now jinxed it, and it will NEVER come out.

2) It will only be on the Wii, so you should try to acquire one if you haven't yet. There are some relatively cheap *used* bundles (games you don't want) on eBay that ship all over the world (for ridiculous prices).

Mac/PC on September 7th. I believe a toned down DS version will also be out sometime, not sure when. And you can buy the creature creator in mid June before the game comes out. You can import your creatures when you buy the full game in September. Hope that helped!
