Now before i begin let me say that Tron legacy is amazing. Daft punk is amazing. this track is amazing. but daft punk has come forward and confirmed they did not create this track. it was uploaded by an unknown artist on soundcloud. this song (sadly) isnt even on the official tron legacy OST.
I still believe Daft Punk are good. They are still one of the most consistant bands ever. This song is great and shows the potential daft punk still have. I reckon their music is perfect for this movie too.
Oh, c´mon, you´re sounding too much "The end." If you analise their complete discography (if you want the link to it, i can give it to you), you will see that not all their songs are great, i do understand your point, that making this soundtrack made them kind of change a little bit what they are, but as i said before, this could be only one not so "Daft Punk" song of the 24 songs that they made forthe movie, so, don´t need to worry, yet.

First: Walt Disney studios pression and brainwash, since they want to use daft punk A LOT in the movie, full soundtrack, an apparison on the movie, a promotion of the movie on comicon with the band. Second: the money on the play, i mean, no comments. Third: imagine if they use a song with the style of aerodinamite, burnin' or revolution 909, i like those songs, but you know how Disney or the public would react.

But i also do understand that they kind of distorced themselves, since in the interviews they always spoke of independence of studios, creativity, and not following patterns of popular bands, it´s kind of surprising for me too see what´s happening now, but i still hope that the rest of the musics are a little bit more "Daft Punk", i hope.
