  • There the talking version but without the talking version of the dance finale, That lost. Mca could combine the silent finale with the survivng track from the talky,This would come close to being restored but Mca is stingy. It's hording many of their classics just to save money.

  • Thanks for uploading. This is history and shows us how contemporary people are and were. Love the sets its so modern.

  • Great clip! And Iv'e always liked the song "Hittin' the Ceiling".

  • WOW -- this was amazing -- the whole thing looks like Carl Lammelle's revenge! Could you settle somthing once-and-for- all I've always wondered: was Glenn Tryon Tom Tryon's father?

  • No, to my knowledge there's no relation between the two gentlemen mentioned.

  • The camera work is to great that gives it away that the sound was added. The camera didn't move in early talkies due to noise.

  • Wow! I am very impressed. I've never seen any clips from this before and the camerawork is just amazing! I'm now convinced there's no excuse but lazy direction for the immobile, stationary talkies that followed this one. Thanks for posting!

  • This film is known for the breakthrough camera work, seen here, using a giant rolling crane developed by the director

  • I have only seen photos of those amazing Chorus girl costumes before,so Art Deco as is the AMAZING set!!!Marvelous and very much appreciated!
