Sure, he doesn't play it perfectly, and yeah, maybe he did speed up the video, but just the fact that a 12 year old played this peice effectively better than I can (I'm 16...haha) is amazing enough.

I guess its good to start to mastering something from the early age if a student shows interest in it. deberias buscar un mejor profesor o una beca en una buena escuela un profesor que no sepa enseñar a mantener una frase y que no sea exigente con la afinacion es muy perjudicial para una persona con talento ¿cual es la gracia de tocar paganini si no pdes mantener la afinacion o tener una consciencia de las frases? (es solo un comentario) mucha suerte estudia duro y cuida su afinacion le aseguro que si ud empieza por cuidar eso dentro d pronto estara tocando en grandes escenarios!

I think you play very good to be just 12 years old, but this piece is to hard for you. you´ve started too early with it and it is noticeable that you don´t have any control over your play. you should probably wait with this caprice a couple of years. then you can feel that you have at least a bit of control over it. you´re very talanted, so don´t ruin it by playing extremely hard virtuoso pieces from the beggining, that´s my advice

specifically the eye movements of 0:24-0:28. lol that's unnatural as hell.

this kid might be talented but whoever owns this account is a fraud. many of these videos were edited, perhaps all of them. another clue is how the camera changes the lighting too quickly

Unfortunately youtube removed a video of Hyun Su Shin playing this caprice, which a incredible interpretation. This kid is good for his age, but no one can't deny he misses a lot of notes, he's out of tune, his fingers aren't fast enough, he needs fluency, etc.

This piece is great by itself, but this version is not well execueted. In other words don't judge others sensibility and music appreciation if you don't have a decent musical taste to recognize that this can be improved.

your left hand is really good! however, your right hand seems really rigid. free it up a bit more and you will be able to do many techniques much easier while preventing injury. you seem to rely alot on wrist and elbow and not enough on your individual finger strength, like your pinky's curvature and strength(there should be more power there) and the ring finger. i'm watching and all your finger strength is in your index and wrist. sorry to rant...just my 2 cents on it

You can play the notes. But seriously, I do not think you mastered the actual technique which these caprices needs you to learn.

You should stop playing all these difficult pieces and play more melodious pieces to train your musicality. How about a simpler concerto or sonata which allows you to really sing with the violin? (or enjoy more?)

Being able to play these difficult caprices at a young age does not mean a thing at all. Music is not sports. Music is art.
