I also don't get how other people subscribe or rather miss doing so. For me it is usually as follows: I see ONE interesting video, then go on the profile, and if it seems like there are one or two other good videos, I susbcribe right away. (I mean, I can unsubscribe later anyway when I figure the channel isn't actually that good.) And so far I've only unsubscribed in probably only a dozen cases (that produced only annoying videos for months).

lmao!!! this video is so funny....if you like the person, subscribe.. its not a big deal!! i guess iam a subscription whore, i think of subscribing as a bookmark..so i can go back and really check out the persons channel later.. if over time i don't like the person's view i unsubscribe..the asking for friends status, i don't usually do that unless the person really makes me laugh or they ask me. it kind of seems more personal, than the subscription. i think of youtube mainly as entertaiment

I subscribe for a variety of reasons. Sometimes I come across a GREAT video and I don't have time (at that moment) to watch all of the other videos that person has. I know that if I don't subscribe to them NOW I am later not going to remember their name or be able to find them again. It's easier to find them again if I sub.
