2.malwarebytes and avg 8 internet security/antivirus (not free edition) from other PC to usb stick

I Would Say Go On The internet and search avg free 8.0 and download that and scan whole computer and make sure when you see the trojan or virus send it to vault and when its in there delete everything in the vault and problem solved or just system restore.

hey there if i were you i would try download avg anti fire wall and run the scan if this does not fix the problam i would recamed you reainstalling your windows xp software back on to you computer system but rea format your hard drive befor you proceed with new windows xp i hope this ansers your question on why your computer says that you have a trojan virus some times it's just a scam for people to give out there card number and use your card all right have a great day,
