  • john i have been a big fan of your show for a while now i wanna know can you grow one or two or three cannabis plants in your garden for use i think you would grow some of the best medicine for sick people

  • HI John, good videos! Were there any agents from Franchi Seeds there, vending? Or any tables with some of their varieties? And, were there any Canadians there, as far as you could tell? how good was the attendance, would you say, through the whole event?

  • No on the Franchi Seeds. They were at the SF Garden Show. Don't know about any Canadians. Possibly. For the event over 10,000 people attended from what I heard.

  • @growingyourgreens Thanks! (there is a Franchi Seeds agent in California, i know that. nice people, great seeds. just wondered if they came down to the show.) And thanks for what you do, encouraging folks to get outside and try to grow their own food. good job! :) I enjoy your vids a lot. All the best! Jeff

  • You're doing good things John. Good for you

  • I'm a greenthumb newbie. How do you find out about all these Expos and markets? Is there a newsletter I can subscribe to in order to find out when/where these shows are held? Thanks for the quality info.

  • Also, chewing very well, does the job! :p

  • i want to try those apples!

  • Not to be a kill joy john, but you spelt nutrients wrong on your card on number 2 "juice" lol :D

  • That's what I get for generating all the signs at 2am in the morning..

  • Lacto-fermintation is another way to preserve some vegetables in a very healthy way.

  • John can you juice pumpkins?

  • Yes. You can. Need to cut them into smaller pieces..

  • What do you use to fertilize your plants?

  • Hardy Banana,...hmm..so bananas can also be grown up here on the central plateau,.....COOL,...what a varied array of heirlooms,...and so many apples,...thumbs up to ya John and thankin' ya for the AWESOME Upload!! =)

  • Why you would want plant enzymes? They are proteins, you can't assimilate them, they are just degraded to aminoacids like any other polypeptide in the GI tract.

  • I noticed you pointed out some prickley pear. I have started growing them for the pads and I love to eat them young and raw. Very good IMO and different species can taste different. Wish you would do a video on them and the health benefits. I even wash them and bag them for lunch at work.

  • @martenfisher1 Yeah different species and they all taste different, did ya know there's a sour tastin' one, usually ate chopped with cooked beans,..they're Xoconostles(pronounced: Hokonostlays).

  • Congrats! Now how am I going to receive a tree collard and lichi tomato from you? What about if it fits it ships for one low price?

  • O.k John, I know you are growing your greens, Discount juicer, and raw foods. Do you have any other channels I have'nt come across yet?

  • Awesome work you are doing sir!

  • Congrats on the award!

I ordered my Vita-mix and Omega 8004 from you, and am anxiously awaiting their arrival! Keep up the good work John!

  • Marveling, in awe...what a visual colorful delight! Wonderful use of strawberry/similar baskets. Simple, resourceful, imaginative. Your booth was fabulous John. A multitude of things going on there! Congratulations on your prize ribbon. And, not having been able to attend - thank you, thank you for this multi-sensory tour!

  • Excellent presentation.
