I have friends who are involved in a local seed bank, saving the old crops from extinction. These genetically modified pesticide resistant seeds and the business of selling sterile seeds will die, and we will pull out the great sweet corn we used to know as kids. We're making sure of it.

Here in Texas where I live, my family has been trying to get raw milk- but the police recently threatened the farmer we have been getting it from with jail time, so he stopped coming to sell it.

Yet in California, raw milk is legal because a lot of consumers want it. So the issue isn't really about any safety risks (which are totally unfounded) of raw milk at all!!

the problem with horizon milk is that it is ultra pasteurized. This is done so that it can be transported further and stored longer. This process kills the bad stuff in milk but it kills the good stuff too, the stuff that helps your stomach digest it. Also remember that the only things "organic" about horizon's milk are their feed and antibiotic practices.

Buying organic milk neither guarantees that the cows have been treated humanely nor that the employees are treated well.

No, Most of te soy beans in the US are from seeds that were GE (genetically Engineered) look for products labeled GMO FREE, the law does not require companies to disclose (on the packaging) whether or not they used GMO in there product. SCARY, but we must speak up to stop this. :)

If the food is NON-GMO, believe me...the company will state such specifically. ONLY consume soy that is clearly marked NON-GMO.
