So you're telling me 'Dovahkiin fah hin kogaan mu draal.' Translates to 'Dragonborn, for your blessings we pray and the scrolls have fortold of black wings in the cold, that when brothers wage war come unfurled Alduin, bane of kings, ancient shadow unbound with a hunger to destroy the world.'? I find that highly unlikely.

Did they actually invent a new language for this game? Does anyone know where I could get the correct pronunciations for these words? I realize they they sing them but it is a bit hard to hear the exact pronunciation. I keep pronouncing it like German which I know is wrong. Though the more I sing it, the more I hear myself singing it in a more part Scandinavian, part German accent

Funny thing they they copied dragon language from Russian (search youtube for "Skyrim - Главная тема услышанная не так")

the song sound exactly like some Russian song, meaningless through.

@Tjina60 Dude, that's wrong - the video is right. The one that you just posted and thought was correct was actually what some people guessed to be the right translation just because it sounded as though the people were singing it. The song is actually in Dragontongue, or Draconic, and the translations in the video are correct.
