And by fleet, it's complete with an aircraft carrier, along with a number of destroyers, subs, and cruisers. I would doubt other categories to stand up to other countries like Russia or China. But not the Navy.. it's without a doubt the toughest on earth.
I'm chinese myself, and I wouldn't for a second want the US and China to get into any sort of conflict. And I'm sure neither country would. It wouldn't be pretty. It will be nuclear war, army will possibly play a huge role in the beginning.

China would not pull themselves into a WW3 scenario with multiple nuclear superpowers involved over a country like Iran. Iran at this point just has bigger balls than brains. Iran is playing a dangerous game. Wouldn't it be easier to open up your nuclear facilities, stop making threats, tone down support for the Syrian massacres, and then we could all go about our merry way? There wouldn't have to be an invasion. The Iranian leadership could hold their position this way and no one would die.

Sure, China did bad during the Great Leap Forward, but since the country has adopted a open market policy, alot's of Chinese are happy the way the country goes right now. Also, China is a member of the UN permament Permanent members of the UN security council, so they have the right to produce nukes as long they're not used in modern warfare.
