Roundabout with separate cycle path in the Netherlands

Utopia. I'm voting the Green Party for the purley selfish reason, I want more proper cycle paths so I can cycle everywhere relaxed like this canny lot.

Motorists in England, particularly London do not and will never give a sh!t about cyclists. So may times, i almost get squashed, cut up, have doors open on me. so far, no accidents, but how long can i read the minds of motorists, i don't know. There is one cycle that i use that i see constantly being used by cars.

I have seen a similar roundabout in England, but the people on the cyclepath didn't have right of way over the cars on the approaching lanes, thus making it potentially lethal.

Think of all the money wasted on planning and approval meetings, when in fact a £19 Easyjet flight to the Netherlands would allow them to just copy what the Dutch have done in a far superior way!

Great timing in posting this video. I was recently editing the Cycling section of the Roundabout article on Wikipedia. I posted pictures on how cyclists are accommodated on a couple of roundabouts in Arizona, United States.
