  • Dung does look like Trinh Lam (in Thuy Nga Paris by night). just that he's skinnier but his face look so much like Trinh Lam.

  • It is not chinese new year !!! It is lunar new year. Thank you

  • I came to see your videos since Nhu Loan posted on her facebook. You are such a good singer. Amazing pure voice. Have you ever thought sending a demo tape at thuy nga production or asia entertainment? I think you really should! so i can buy your future albums! i just click in the subscribed box and hope to see more videos!!

  • Great song! Great voice!

But I agree with some people below. You should have said "Happy Lunar New Year" or "Happy Tet". "Happy Chinese New Year" gives obvious impression that we celebrate THEIR new year while they are about to rob islands and sea from Vietnam. What a shame!

  • @greygooseontherock Yep, well to be honest with you i didnt intentionally say CHINESE new year... it just came out that way because I didnt grow up around many vietnamese people so i just called it what everyone else did. I can see your point, but I just want to say that i didnt say it with the intention of offending anyone and I'm sorry if I have. I'm sure none of us can say we are politcally correct 100% of the time!!

  • @greygooseontherock But I have taken note and will be more careful in what I say.. I just want to make song covers and enjoy the music.. im not here to argue or ruffle anyones feathers! Last of all I wanted to say thank you - for bringing up the issue in ur comment in a mature way with polite language.. i appreciate it!

  • @anonamese

Hi, I think you should just drop the topic and enjoy the video for what it's worth. I'm pretty sure Dani and Dung did not upload this video intending to "cross - culture", like you have mentioned. Can't we just sit back, relax, and enjoy some beautiful music? Actually WE can, I don't know about you though.. obviously...

  • @DaniBui CONTINUE:You're making a video singing in Viet for the Vietnamese audiences on a Tet day. But then you open your mouth and said, ''Happy Chinese New Year!!'' What do you think our reaction is? Why don't you make another video singing in chinese for the chinese audiences, then say HAPPY VIETNAMESE NEW YEAR!! to the them and see what their reaction is. Do you get my point? I'm the 3rd or 4th person who said something about this and I won't be the last.

  • wow great voice!!! thumbs up!!! need moar!!!! moarrrrrrrrrr

  • damn u sexy girl

  • Nice song .... but ... why not say Vietnamese new year or lunar new year instead of Chinese new year ?

  • @madzam because the lunar new year which is chinese new year, our vietnamese people didn't invent the new year hahahaha, shame but right :P

it doesn't matter chinese, vietnamese or lunar, its the same thing, my friend :P

  • @2LonelyPlanet Nobody invented the New Year not even the chinese. When the last day of the year end people celebrate all over the world. Just because Vietnamese, chinese, and Korean use the Lunar Calendar does not mean the chinese invented the New Year. She might as well sing a chinese song too since she open her mouth and say happy Chinese New Year, and came back from chinese New Year celebration. Chinese this and chinese that blah blah blah but sing a Vietnamese song.

  • @madzam We Vietnamese and Korean do not celebrate chinese new year. We celebrate Lunar New Year (TET) because Vietnam, China and Korea use the same LUNAR CALENDAR. Very ignorant and stupid of this girl to open her mouth and say happy Chinese New Year and she just came back from a chinese New Year celebration when she's Vietnamese. What happen to Tet and hoi cho Tet? It's unfair to the Vietnamese and Korean when people say it's chinese new year.
