What makes these people right and the Jury wrong exactly.

The people on film made their minds up about this before the trial began - in the case of family members and friends this is quite understandable.

It does not mean they are right though.

Jury's decisions must be respected.

...and nobody should blindly follow any verdicts...sometimes they are WRONG! respect is earned.

I will accept some lost a loved one and I sympathise, but it is not ignorant to respect a verdict of which there is no evidence was not perfectly true.

The defendant argued self defence. The jury accepted this as a possibility. It is not right to imprison someone when there is a doubt as to their guilt.

These are great people, but what the **** is going on with the rest of Liverpool? Disgusting verdict. There's no excuse for beating a sleeping man to death. Apparently we need to say that in Liverpool now. I don't know why this hasn't been in the news on this side of the pond until now.

Well done to everyone who stood up to be counted in the protest held in Liverpool city centre today regarding the homophobic murder of 18 year old Michael Causer.

Lets hope more of the gay community in Liverpool can unite to show some solidarity against hate crime
