I decorated mine with a strand of regular lights and bulbs and tinsel..looked gorgeous, too! I, too, had problems with the volume (maybe that's why it was at big lots) but after 2 yrs the volume started working in it's own. I held it down for 5 seconds first, then adjusted the volume, it worked. After 2 years of me having to muffle the sound, but boy was it fun to watch. It died on Christmas Eve last year..so sad..
I bought my Gemmy single tree Incredible Holiday light show in 2008, used it last year. This year we went to hook it up and only one third of the lights came on and only ONE color. No music no motion no other lights. Tried resetting both tree and remote but nothing made it work. Hate dumping this because it was expensive. When it worked it looked cool but at the cost should last for years
Hey we bought this last yr and we put in up this year and the remote contoller and the control isn't synchronizing. Did you put yours up this yr? any problems
@beach351 the remote on mine also didn't work. Like I wanted to turn the volume down because it's just too loud and it wouldn't turn down!!! I'm gonna remove the screws on the remote and see if I can fix mine.
momtojosh Yes It's at Big lots, I did see the one at Wall mart It's one big tree. If the Video had just left out the guy saying incredibale on this it would be fantastic. I tried all the different songs at Big Lots and it is beautiful. Well worth the buy.

@impulsw is it the wireless remote? if so check the receiver. if it is the wired one then check the wire for cuts.
