This was Grace Kelly's favorite song, and when you know something about her life, you'll understand why. This song should not be sped up, as one of those commenting suggested. It is powerful and haunting, and oddly enough, is not a song I am able to whistle. You "feel" this song, you "live" this song. I used this song often after my separation, and it helped me release a lot of emotions that I kept bottled up. This version with human voices is equal to my favorite symphonic version......slowly.

This has always sounded to me a piece that was originally written Allegro then rewritten Adagio. It's gentle and quiet but it never lets you pause to breathe. It doesn't let you go until it's done. There's no ornament. For composers, these are aspects you want in an Allegro. I would like to hear this sped up somehow. I know it's vandalism but I have to know.

I do agree with your choice of In Paradisum (particularly that from Faure's requiem). However, I don't agree that the words from the Agnus Dei here are irrelevant as, although I am not religious, I am led to believe that the concept of Agnus Dei was that of the scapegoat being punished for the acts of others.
