  • Amen, Welcome to the world!

They seem to say/think anything above oxygen, and water is not a nesc. therefore not needed.

Hope things have turned around some.

I wish the best for you and it seems that you are going through so much at the moment , it sounds to me that your family is not very supportive but hang in there. I just hope that you will overcome everything especially your depression; talk to someone your friends or your boyfriend that will help

  • I dont smoke weed anymore but it does help but marijuana messes with your lung which lowers the immune system that will make you uc worse so chill out babemeditate andmaster yourself from within work pay for community college get a's and do good in school shit im worse off than you try being broke no school cause you cant work in pay for it and living with mom thats hard so you gotta suck that shit up baby girl in hustle for real life is hard but you have to work with it

  • Girl - is the credit card debt worth your life? Bankruptcy- Tell the cc companies to go fuck themselves liked they did to you and pay for whats priority.

  • I feel for you. I was in college when I got UC. I did not have a car, cell phone, or bills. I got financial aid, and paid the rest by working as an RA. I was out for a semester with my surgery. I finished college, 2 degrees, and surgery was paid for by my father's insurance. I feel so bad for you, and really understand. Things will surely get better. I have since lived with an ileostomy for 31 years, succesful career, and active sex life. God be with you through your struggle.

  • smoke weed and chill

  • NateisTrippin - Weed costs money which I, obviously, don't have. Thanks for the suggestion but it clearly isn't an option for me.

  • This video is not depressing for me but very heartbreaking. As far as financial help (if your still needing it) i would recommend Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University.

  • My Husband has UC and his is one of the worst cases they've seen. He's put off surgery for a long time and now in March he's going in for his first surgery. I know how you feel because he'll be out of work for 6 weeks and then in 3 months another surgery and out of work for anther 6 mons. So, I'm scared of the money situation and we have two little girls. So, I feel you, for sure. Try to make ur life as simple as poss. I'm so sorry for your pain and stress

  • I just saw you blog of 9/23/08. I hope your situation has significantly improved since then. Having had UC and now having had ileostomy for 13+ years my heart really goes out to you. I know how difficult life can be - especially with a bowel disease. Please let me know how you are doing.

    Stan

I also have uc go to college and work parttime, the best thing I could do was go to community college and swithcing from university. How could such a beautiful grl be in so much anguish and sadness, I'll Keep u in my prayers.

  • 1st off dont die. 2nd have you look into the doing the DIET yet. I sorry about your school were talking about your life here you can go back to school later.I might lose everything i have thru bankuptcy. My 1st home,I love my condo, the last flare up brought me to a new low. After a losing my income due to flare ups. The bottom line is your health. I have been there in the hole many times DEPRESSED AND SCARED. you well hang in there,I well see your next video-cried if U have to. LOVE YOU JD

  • I didn't end up dying, but did try the diet. Twice. It never worked for me.

I'm so sorry about what has happened to you.

  • I can identify with this illness because my father has it too. I was wondering if you may have tried Asacol? It's a drug that helps manage ulcerative colitis.

  • I have tried Asacol. I was on it for quite some time, but it never seemed to improve my condition. However, it has helped others.

  • Wow. My dad has the same condition and this medication is helping him. I suppose the disease comes in different grades of severity. At one time, before he started the meds, there was talk of performing an illiostomy on my dad, but he opted not to do that and altered his eating habits and continued the drug therapy. So far so good. It's in remission for the moment and has been for at least twenty years or so. I hope the same happens for you.

  • The Pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the REALIST adjusts the sails W. Ward

  • i know exactly how you feel. i'm going through the same shit, and my parents won't help me either. they would be a way to help you if you weren't on your parents insurance... which illustrates the fact they take care of you when they don't actually. at least you have insurance for now. colitis seems to hit allot of us in the prime of our lives, i don't know what to tell you to get through this except the fact to know your not alone. allot of us are going through the same thing... like me.

  • It definitely seems to hit so many in our prime, but at least I am finally getting better...

    How are you?

  • not so great, but I'm optimistic

  • I'm really soory to hear how you are stuggling on your own basically. I don't know how things work over in the stats as far as Government funding, health care and such goes as I'm from Ireland. Please keep us informed on how things go.I wish you all the luck in the world..truely. Take care and God bless <3

  • HOPEFULLY the US will start taking after Europe more...

    But, thank you!

  • I am a person who too has UC and Chrohn's disease. If you wanna talk or share information on this medical problem we share, my page is open. Thanx for sharing these videos. At least I am not alone in this.

  • You are not alone at all.

  • the cure for Ulcerative Colitis is a colostomy.its best to get one to rest your colon for a while.my large colon was removed because i was stubborn and thought i was to young to be walking around with a bag on my stomach i was wrong, my recton was badly damage from emergency sugery to were i cant reverse mine,I have a iliostomy i had to get my colon removed know im 36 had it for 3 years.

  • i was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis when i was 21 Ive been hospitalized more then i like, almost died from symptoms and stupid ass intern doctors you have to be very strong your going to go through a lot of bull crap.you need to get the surgery now!!! re apply for your loans and get back in school

  • Thank you for your advice! I did end up getting the surgeries (see new video...)

  • Hey Im very sorry this is happening to you. Do you ever think about going to a less expensive school. I live in nyc and they have city universities that are a lot cheaper than private colleges. I go to a city university which is about $4,500 a yr. My parents also cant afford to pay for me to go to school, I have UC also. Could that be a possibility, going to a cheaper school? Dont give up on school. I can only imagine how hard that is on you, but you are strong!!

  • Thank you so much!

  • I'll check with the business majors I know and ask them if they have any ideas. I didn't know that the University screwed you over so much. You'll make it though... keep your eye on the prize.

  • Thanks buddy!
