The true merit of a students education is, or should be, actually implemented in every aspect of one's playing. Not trollin but any and everything you learn can be used and implied, it's just depends on the articulation of potent measures by the operator. The use of technique all depends on the player, take my 0 year music education for example and look how I write and the techniques and chord structures used, its a lot more involved with less actual foundation/theory/lessons.

PLEASE don't refer to the term as explanatory to the genera of a song and/or band haha. it's just the noise you get when you combine the right things.
