@SuperCavaro German Army in general is extremely useful, If you use their warband spearmen right you can dominate any army 10x your size, 4 well places spear regiments helped me defeat a 2000+ Army defending a little city

Just beat the game with romans. Then you can pöay imperial campaign with germans,parthians,seleucids,eg­yptians,carthaginians,britons,­and gauls. If youscript you can play with Numidia,Spain,Dacia,thracia and Scythia.

well he had reserves in the city and around the bottleneck, he could send out his archers and 2 phalanxes and leave a unit in the center guarded by another phalanx and archer around the entrences to the square, he had enough men to counter attack a breach in his walls, im sure he knew that aswell
