Thats normal man... Protocol says pitch up 10 degrees... Once you're clear of the ground... Pitch up to 15 degrees... Nothing wrong here... It's just the camera angle... Remember the superbike doing the > 180 degrees wheelie video???
Normally a 757 needs a touch of down elevator to keep weight on the nosewheel during the takeoff roll, which means that at V2, centring the stick will give you a small lift to take the weight off the gear and rotate gently. In this case, I'd agree that his rotation was a bit aggressive; okay, the tail skid didn't get really close, but that was more a function of V2+ speed lifting the weight off the main gear before the tail touched. Maybe a touch heavy-handed?
if you think that is < half a meter, you've got something wrong with your eyes! that's more likely 2 meters. the height of the cockpit windows is probably about 50cm, and there is about 3 maybe 4 times the gap at the back.
@MajorWales I disagree, thats impossible to be 2 meters, the distance is almost the same of a main wheel tyre, so it IS actually closed. But anyway, a normal take off for the 757..

von ghana air hab ich dort 2006 eine dc-10 gesehen und bei start an der bahnhofs besucherterrasse war sie zu tief geil da mann sie richtig cool sehen konnte

maybe fludusTV is right about that half a metre,but i would say the pilots still have full control on that takeoff... at Vr,they have the speed they should have for a lift off,so yes... the plane liftet off in good time before a possible tailstrike.. :D

You can see there's nothing wrong with it, the look at the rear tires. The gap between the ground and the tail is just as tall as one of the tires.
