Get over it. It helped boost Star Trek's popularity. I'm one of the Trekkies that actually enjoyed it. I hate when fans are so critical and whiny. I have seen every single episode, season, series, and movie and this new one still feel like Star Trek to me except it was updated and modernized. I have every series and every movie in my collection at home. I can't wait for the 12th installment! I hope it's twice the fun and exciting! I also hope Star Trek comes back to television as well!

As well when you hear critics say Star Trek is suppose to be like this or suppose to be like that, I see JJ's version and go check, check, check. And when they say Star Trek is not suppose to be like this and not suppose to be like that, what do we find on the original series?

All amazing movie no doubt. But I can't help but prefer the original Star Trek(s). I guess it would be because I've been watching them literally since I was born.

I think another TNG movie would have rocked. But they kind of screw the series over with the Nemesis. Not because it was bad, had the best battle I've ever seen in Trek, but with Riker and Troi on the Titan, Crusher being Transferred, Worf on DS9 and Data dead. The series is doomed.
