i sliced 2 of my finger tips off doing the exact same thing...my mom sliced her finger right before me. i didnt know she had, she just ditched and went to the doctors before i ever even found out. i continued her work not knowing what happened and did the same thing. I called my mom crying and she came back for me and we got bandaged together...lol. i sliced mine worse and got some nerve damage so i can't feel n e thing on the tip of one finger.

I can completely understand why you wanted to finish for Chef. Don't feel bad about missing a few things. If there is one thing I have learned from being at IALW even just walking through the kitchen and hearing others talk that work under the Exec. Chef., nothing is EVER perfect. According to Patrick O'Connel nothing is ever perfect. It can always be better, which is tough because you just want that recognition. All I hear about are the rants. lol

mmm not any specific.. personally I'm interested in asian fusion but the school here doesn't offer specific cuisines to excel in.. They rotate you into every cuisine so you get a well rounded background of it all =]
