@BuscoBeast yes several types of two handed sabers were in use by the Chinese military in the late Ming through Qing dynasties and the one Jack uses here is one of them. The shortest example was about 103 cm long, then 110 cm long, then there was a 135 cm long example, a 165 long example, and there was even one that was about 220 cm. (All sizes recalculated from a Qing period text, using the sizes of remaining examples in the Palace Museum armories to re-calculate the armorer's rulers.)
