Hi, I've got a quick question. How can I quicken the drying process on oil base stain. i can't seen to achieve the dark color if I rub it off, even after an hour or so. So I'm leaving it on but its taking forever to dry. Is there any way to speed it up?
@WakingTheDemon132 Thanks 4 that! The project has come along quite nicely, once I got a technique down. By brushing a small amount on a limited area, followed by hand rubbing with a rag to eliminate blotching, I was able to keep the original satin finish, while bringing out the grain even more than it was before. Fun, yet tedious!

I'm using Polyshades to refinish a 40 year old dining room set that I already sanded. So far, it looks pretty good. Any insider tips?
