@phuturephunk Nice comment. Drinkin' at that little bar was like being in a Film Noir movie from the 50's. Nothing like it. No retro yuppie/yunnie psudo model bar/bottle service lounge can even compare.....to real life!!!! Forget the Pomegranate Appletini...I'll have a decanter of Manhattans anytime.

That HJs was one of my favorite places because I went there all the time as a kid. I visited it shortly before it was closed.

i remember in 84/85 the Mc Donalds i would go to was on 45 and bwy..at night we would call pimp donalds..they would all hang out in there...and across the divider on 46 and 7ave was the infamous Mardi Gras strip club. their girls would work outa there. Since then they tore down Mardi Gras and put up a 40+ story build.
