It is purely lobbying, and the shock doctrine, I hear even smart people saying that they need to drill for the oil there, that we need all the oil we can get to lower prices. That is exactly the problem, the oil companies will not stop until they've sold to us every last drop of oil on the planet. What we need is not more drilling but more ALTERNATIVES.
