  • There's one at the Cosmosphere Air & Space Museum down in Hutchinson, Kansas. Quite a work of art those beauties are.

  • People ask me why I have her tattooed on me......watch this & listen to her I say! If they don't get it its their loss. I might be the only woman who wishes she was older, because then I would have had more time to see her in real life.

  • Blackbird 101!!!

  • *****Great video!

Touch & Go's were always a joy. On occasion our pilots treated the ground crew to incredible fly by's that could only be experienced in person. Truly moments of time never to be forgotten. All memories cherished.

NASA's astronauts came to us for their suits. That's cause for bragging rights for the 9th SRW!!!

  • Actually I remember that is actually aircraft "955" the "Palmdale testbed" that flew the "Hester test route at Edwards with new SR add'ons this was the only time "955" ever left U.S. airspace.. it tested the "ASARS" system in England and was re-numbered as "962" for this single mission overseas..unusual vid...Thank you

  • Tee hee...this must have kept the peace camp ladies awake.

  • how cost this machine

  • A rare view of the "ducks bill" nose section with obvious dimples on each side(02:33-02:45)that contained the [ASARS] sensor, tested from 83'- 86'that could gather intelligence over 150,000 square miles/hr of terrain..very good stuff.

  • Uncommon edit job for a very uncommon aircraft..Thank you MSgt Haynes for bringing the Blackbird back to life..Ben Rich and Kelly Johnson would be proud..
