CoD 1, CoD 1 Finest Hour, CoD 1 United Offensive, CoD 2 Big Red One, CoD 2, CoD 3 and finally CoD WaW.. that's seven in total and though I don't love the MW series, I don't think they should go back to WWII. Perhaps a different war like Korea/Vietnam.

But the hardest level was the D-Day, damn I FUCKING RAGED AND RAGED OVER AGAIN, I did too get owned, hell I even lost the count of my deaths.

I haven't tried this mission on veteran yet, I'm stuck on 'The Silo' capturing the houses is so veryyyy annoying that I can't even capture a house without them mowing me down from all sides. After that though, it's Hill 400 and this D-Day left then I've completed this game on veteran finally.

@DasTasche I think it's gonna be a lot harder than D-Day though. I've seriously been stuck on the same checkpoint for like half an hour, which is bad considering I usually breeze through these missions quite easily. Do you know in the mission where I can get spare smoke grenade ammo? I'm down to only one and I don't wanna use it unless absolutely neccesary.

@DasTasche Argh got 2 buildings left to secure, C and F and they both have infinite respawns I think. Used my last smoke grenade to capture the other one though I doubt I'll need them anymore. Is the sniping part on top of the silo really that bad? I've heard that if you don't save and quit right after the checkpoint, you get sort of a glitched checkpoint were you instantly die and the only way out is restarting the entire mission, which I'm not doing.

Done that mission along with Hill 400 like 2 hours ago, which was a LOT easier than the damn silo.. luckily I only died like 3 or 4 times sniping the mortar team but only towards the end of Hill 400 was I sort of starting to think I'd have to redo because I kept dying and coming back and finding 3 grenades on my face.. only this mission left now.

@TheCobraGunner no it's Point Du Hoc, it was a special mission the rangers had to do, it really was a ridiculous achievement and by all rights every one of them should have been killed, about 225 rangers had to conduct an amphibious assault, then had to scale a cliff, all under heavy fire, then take control of the bunkers and destroy the guns firing down on Utah and Omaha, then hold off a counter attack. they suffered 135 casualties. Only the Rangers could have done it.

Although in the World at War campaign, there were no British troops, it would be nice and historically accurate if you could use a Sten Gun or Baker Rifle, and yes, COD has lost not only its historical significance and feel, but also its personality, realism and ultimately its playability. Look at Bad Company 2 - admitedly not the most realistic game. It was released not that much after MW2... but how many people do you see playing Mw2 anymore?
