  • Um not sure if you were corrected but the first train, the engine is an HHP-8. Not an Acela Powercar. The Acela's cant be taken apart afaik. But that was an HHP-8 Engine on the front.

  • 1st one definatley isn't Cresent They normally have a larger number of cars

  • double AEM7 units on train #5 very interesting the second appeared to be in tow an not in use but I might be wrong I thought both units had to have raised pantagraphs to opperate but since they are MUed to each other I might be wrong I have photographed almost all those little AEM7 engines and quite a few of the new HHP8 engines also cool video been in the cab of the Acela too very hightech

  • great ideo I love shooting on the Northeast Corridor but I have only done it at New Carrolton Maryland how far is Seabrook from there ..I just returned from Paris France and got to see the new TGV trains from Alstom they are identical to the Acelas I understand same builders..hell I was on the Orient Express and when one of those passed me with the open windows Whoosh same as the Acela in your video but I was told they were doing over 180 at the time they passed me the TGV I ment...great video

  • nice train's. umm the only high speed trains i can think of are the NQ, an the XPT in Australia

  • I love standing at the station in Hamilton< NJ. You can actually smell the engine as it goes through at 100 and so plus miles
