    2nd: Buccellati, Sticky Fingers

    3rd: Narancia, Aerosmith

    4th: Jotaro, Star Platinum

    5th: Dio, The World

  • @Chernobog2 Buccerrati*

  • @huuballawick no, Buccellati is correct. he's named after Gianmaria Buccellati, a brand of jewelry.

  • @Chernobog2 The correct English translation is Buccerrati, but that's how you say it. The L's are changed to R's when converting Japanese to English (Inuyaha, Kirara = Kilala )

  • @huuballawick there is no official english translation, only Part 3 was ever released outside Japan. I'm going with his name being Bruno Buccellati because it is an actual name, unlike Blono Buccerrati. becides, he's italian, why should we go by japanese spelling rules? if we did, we'd have to spell Giorno's name as "Joruno Jobana," even though his name is supposed to be italian. (yes i know his real name is Haruno Shiobana)

  • @Chernobog2 If it is B(r)uno Buccellati, why doesn't the R apply to the last name? Grammatically speaking, you would also change the L's into R's in the last part as long as you did in the first part, but I see where you are coming from. Most people I know call him Bruno Buccerati, an example is Nakateleeli.

  • @huuballawick because Bruno is always spelled with an R, whereas Buccellati is meant to be spelled with Ls

  • I just lol'd

  • @Mance200 but i heard it used in a different anime...unless they were referencing this...but still

  • is this a game on a website or console?

  • @supremehalo100

I think it's a stick figure flash homage to the actual comic/manga, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

the comic/manga had several games and even an OVA put out for this. the comics are awesome

interesting fact at least 2 street fighter characters were influenced by characters in the second volume. Guile and Rose.

this flash is based on the end of the third volume which the OVA is based on.

video games are based on that same volume they may also be found under Jojo's Venture

  • @supremehalo100

also the video Dio Brando and Za Warudo on the right are clips from the OVA/ the final fight in volume 3 of the comic

  • Co za asy...

    MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA!!!!

    WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!

  • No, actually...

    MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA..... (futile futile)

    ZA WARUDO (The World)

    Toki wo tomare... (Time Freezes)

...Soshite, toki wo mokidasu. (And therefore time has continued)

    ROAD ROLLER (RORE--RU) DA

    URIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII (WRYYY)

[From the gaijin who learned his Japanese. ]

  • @SimonKTemplar You obviously didn't learn it very well then. First, as said many times before in the comments, it's "Toki yo, tomare!" ("Time, stop!") and "Soshite toki wa ugoki dasu" ("Thus, time will move once more"). Also, road roller is written "rōdo rōrā" in Japanese - what you wrote wouldn't sound anything LIKE "road roller" if pronounced with Japanese phonetics.

  • @AiToSeigiNoSenshi Now that was just plain quibbling you just did.

As to the ugoki dasu, I REALLY did not hear, because Dio's accent is so fucked up here. That's a soshite alright.

And as for the wasei-gairaigo, I am at the end of my mind to spell it as ridiculously as the Japanese do, even if it is proper, because I know what they're trying to say and approximate it. Of course, were I to speak to some Japanese person about this, I would say it in that mode, but otherwise no.

  • @SimonKTemplar Just let it go, dude, or you're asking for serious pwning. Miss (?) Warrior of Love and Justice is correct in her (?) appreciations. Mokidasu isn't a word. See ya

  • @Veganomante I'm a guy. My name is how it is because this is a Sailor Moon account.

  • @AiToSeigiNoSenshi you sure it's toki yo? sounds like toki wo to me which would make more sense.

  • @LeaflV Toki yo is right, as you can see from the manga (or so I've been told, anyway).

  • @SimonKTemplar Well said Simon!! By the way, The Saint is one of my top 3 favorite movies ever!!! lol

  • @Lurkerwraith Heh, the Saint's name was a chief inspiration to my official pen name. I just put the K in between.

  • @SimonKTemplar wait if it says "mokidasu", then why does the stick man say "mokidaS"?

  • @gamerseye171

Dude, the japanese do not have single consonants, only syllables from them. SA, SHI, SU, SE, SO. but never S.

what you hear is a typical vocal change, an accent thing. there is only the N consonant, along with Na Ni Nu Ne No, and that consonant usually stands at the end of words, though not necessarily.

And the stick figure says ugoki dasu, not mokidasu, as I initially thought. Ugoki dasu is an expression that means much like '(time's) motion suddenly continues'.

  • @SimonKTemplar How do you think "Desu" is pronounced?

It's "dess". Dehsoo ONLY WHEN EXAGERATED

  • @1337treeckolol partially right, but it would also depend on the person, the dialect, the accent, and of course the very nature of the sentence.

  • @SimonKTemplar True. Like in Tokyo it's Dess, but say... some where else it could be Dehsoo.

    DEESOO IS FOR WEEABOOS.

  • @gamerseye171 The letter S usually gets cut off like that, in the Japanese language. No other letter is treated that way.

Why? Because the S is easy to stop.

  • @SimonKTemplar

I think its ugokidasu. whats "moki" supposed to mean?

  • @Kampy187

    I already cleared the dispute.

  • @SimonKTemplar ...i think road roller translates to road roller lol

  • @SimonKTemplar Actually, nope. It's "Useless" for the series of muda's "Za Warudo" is of course just Engrish brand "The World," "Toki Wo Tomare" means "Time is now frozen," Soshite, Toki Wo Mokidasu would be more or less "Time will continue to move," and the rest is of course just more Engrish.

And I don't even know much Japanese.

  • @Mance200 I'm sorry, I don't want to turn this into a flame war, but what you said isn't properly translated. I already cleared it by using the same grammatical translating approach we use in college, but I missed up on the Soshite toki wo ugoki dasu. which would roughly translate to "and therefore time moves on (continues on), ugoki being the renyo, continuative, form of the verb ugoku, which means to move on, to continue motion. I wish people would just pay more attention to my older posts.

  • @SimonKTemplar I hate ro sound rude, but I merely explained it to yo because what I said is the intended translation as stated by Araki himself. If what you said was what he intended, I wouldn't even have replied.

  • Comment removed

  • @SimonKTemplar after Toki wo tomare, isn't it toki wo ugokidasu?「動き出す」

  • @SimonKTemplar AWESOME! >D

  • @SimonKTemplar there is no wo in japanese its wa

  • @Capter41 It's not wa; it's wo (を), which is often also pronounced o. If it were は (wa), then it would be toki wa tomare, and that would make little sense (e.g."pertaining time, it >>imperative<< stop!" no sense to the sentence. wo indicates the accusative object of speech. wa is for nominative subjects.

  • @SimonKTemplar Thx for that im taking japanese in school...so good to know

  • @Capter41 You do of course realize he (Brando) is commanding that supernatural force thingy to "stop time". That's the purpose of the wo/o and the meirei form of tomaru. Wouldn't make much sense in any other direction. How long have you studied japanese exactly...?

  • @SimonKTemplar good point i was never good at particles but japanese is very complicated so i could guess xD. i been studying japanese for a couple months, strangely had no idea that wo (を) is the same as o, iwas never taught that or look that up.

  • It's kind of sad that most of the people watching this video probably don't know what it is based on. It's probably even sadder that most of them that do only care about part 3, and only because of Dio.

Part 3 Dio isn't as cool as part 1 Dio, and Kira and Cars are both way better villains than Dio anyways.

  • @dethman32 I kinda hate Dio Brando for taking Jonathans body...HOW DID JONATHAN LOSE?!?!?!?TO A HEAD!?!??!?

  • Comment removed

  • @JakariHanma Oh wait. I just read back. Jonathan got hit by Dio's eye laser beams through his hands and throat unexpectedly, which made him unable to use Ripple plus he used what's left of his strength to use Ripple against Wang Chen and protect Erina from the flying debris from the ship. Dio took the chance to grab his neck with his tentacles but with the last bit of his life Jonathan held onto Dio as the ship explodes. Dio, though, was fast enough to take over Jonathan's body when he died.

  • @DexwardCuxann Moral of story: Dio Brandos a cheat butt hole. What I want to know is why Jonathan wasn't on guard AND LOST TO A FLOATING HEAD??!?!?

  • @JakariHanma He was caught by surprise when he saw Dio is still alive and that gave Dio the chance to shoot his eye beams through his throat.

  • @DexwardCuxann Well I'm just saying. I'd still be on guard after dealing with all that crap from some ass hole not even related to me trying to take over my family KILLING MY FREAKING DOG, AND FATHER, AND MUTIPLE FRIENDS. You know?

  • @JakariHanma I would be too, only that it was my honeymoon and I thought that my psycho brother is dead along with his buddies of the night.

  • @JakariHanma lol. I wonder why Dio didn't use his laser in part 3. He would've time stop and shoot the laser beam.

  • @dethman32 oh yeah \forgot JOnathan JOstar it kinda slipped my mind

  • @1peterkim123 No.. all main protaigonists names can be read JoJo.Not jsut those 2, shush
