I wish J had music this good. I think J has the weakest music I've heard in the series while Alpha Gaiden has the best music I've heard (GBA sound chip isn't too strong).

@Stake2 Weak music or not, they made very well with the crappy GBA soundchip (i.e. they gave Kakusei Zeorymer a faster pace while maintaining the tone of the original, and they turned Realize into a Disco version that to me is over 9000 times better than the original.

Plus, crappy GBA soundchip or not, Limit Over is win. :)

@lionheart1013 Wait, why would Astranagant vs. Zeorymer be the end of the universe? And hell, even if the Granzon couldn't win, there's no doubt the Neo Granzon would. Keisar Ephes is the last boss of Alpha 3. The giant battleship/robot hybrid that destroys the galaxy with its final attack.

@lionheart1013 I'm pretty sure the only mechs that could possibly destroy the universe are the Demonbane and the Ideon. The advantage the Dis Astranagant would have over the Zeorymer is the Gun of Dis, which is canonically one of the most volatile weapons ever. Aside from that, the Zeorymer could probably stand a chance assuming it hits it first(though, taking SRW mechanics into consideration, the Dis would probably be able to dodge its attacks). And the Neo Granzon, well... bye bye, earth?

Raw SRW stats alone dictate that Neo Granzon is dramatically stronger than Zeorymer and Astranagant. Neo Granzon can oneshot the final boss in LOE. Zeorymer's advantage isn't in raw destructive power, it's in its teleportation and cross-dimensional travel capabilities. Even if you destroy the universe, Zeorymer can jump to another one to escape the destruction.

Neo Granzon =/= Granzon. Great Zeorymer would be a better match for Neo Granzon, I think. Furthermore, I don't think Granzon's attack can be clearly seen from space, which even "basic" Zeorymer can achieve.

@ModelOz Actually, Demonbane cant universe burst without Shining Trapezohedron (heck, without ST it cant even planet burst). Only its upgrades/evolution, the Gunshinkyoushu and Elder God can (well, they can burst multiple universes at once actually).

And there are more mechs that can universe burst or multi-verses burst other than Ideon and Demonbane.

Zinv, Idol, Xenogear (destroyed objects that can tank BigBang and has a universe creating/reality warping pilot) to name a few.

Well, the Demonbane VN, Demonbane only get to Shining Trapezohedron upgrade. They show a glimpse of Elder God Demonbane in EG end, but no action.

Zinv is from Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure, and it has feat of joining two universes into one then reality warp the entire new universe to its pilot's liking. Idol is the sister machine of Zinv, with more power thank to an add-on, and it appeared near the end of Tenchi Muyo GXP.

Zeorymer has never canonically destroyed more than a few hundred square miles of desert in China. Also Shu is nothing like Shapiro. Shapiro would be comic relief if he wasn't voiced by Norio Wakamoto (this is a guy who openly talks to his alien benefactors about how he's the god-king of the universe without expecting any retaliation, it's a testament to his delusion that they don't see him as a threat.) Shu is an unwilling puppet of an evil god who turns against his master after dying.

Arc Gurren Lagann already punched mechs out of the dimension. Chou Ginga Gurren Lagann can attack a target in past, present, future and up to 11th dimensions. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann generate its own pocket universe in which it controls probability, time, space, dimension jumps.

If it fought ChouGinga, Zeorymer will find itself destroyed before DCS was ever installed, let alone TTGL.

Zeorymer is OP, but there are more OP robots out there.

I think I did, at least enough to notice the crew of the ChouGinga saying they are targeting the enemy in past, future and present at the same time, or TTGL having to fight Anti-Spiral using probability manipulation.

I'm not that craze about TTGL, my sanity level is at least enough to know it can't held a candle against the like of Zinv, Xenogear, Demonbane, etc.

I hate over-wanking thought, and people are overestimating DCS here.

@manveru666 That's a different scale of overpowered. If Zeorymer could get close enough (big 'if'), the Meioh would probably destroy the Ideon. Of course, then everything in a large radius would DIE, so it's sort of a moot point.

I wonder if the DCS could handle being hit by the Ideon Gun...
