The first time I heard this song was when we sang it in our church choir the week after my stepfather had passed away. I had just returned from comforting my mother across the country, and when we reached the last verse in practice, it completely hit home and the tears just streamed down my face. When we sang it for the Mass, I was only able to get through it through sobs. It is so amazingly touching!

"Christianity" historically depicts Jesus (through art) as a "white man". In reality, he was a man from the middle east. But, I doubt that it really matters because Jesus loves us all -- black, white, yellow, brown :) If we all understood this and took it to heart, I doubt we'd have the problems the world is faced with today. Actually, the official name of the song is "Untitled Hymn (Come to Jesus)". It's from Chris Rice's album "Run the Earth, Watch the Sky". Of course, all of Chris Rice's music is great, but this has got to be my all-time favorite Chris Rice song. I first heard this song on a Christian radio station at 4 in the morning while sleeping, and it was so good, I actually woke up from my sleep so I could hear the rest of the song! Strange, but true!
