The only decent way to slaughter a bird is to hang it upside down until it gets sluggish and sleepy. Then take a very sharp knife and whisk off its head. I used to help my father with this when i was five or so. Believe me, it was lightning fast.

While I am a vegetarian I do not judge those who eat meat. I don't mostly for health reasons. However, I do take issue with your statement that God put animals on Earth for us to eat. This has no basis in fact. Since you can eat quite well without meat, why would God want you to eat something you can do without? Besides Jesus was a vegetarian.

Actually according to the Bible Jesus ate fish...but I am actually leaning toward vegetarianism since I have seen what veal calves and factory turkeys are treated like. Have been an animal lover since I was little and I don't mean that I love meat. Was made to eat squirrel and rabbit my sperm donor shot. I hate anything that is inhumane.
