Considering I played 2 and 3 years before playing 1, my main problem is that this game had no real side missions, it was basically just run around and get gems for the most part, which was kind of lacking to me, but it's the first game so it was also kinda expected

Good review. I disagree though, I always thought of it as the best game in playstation history (but thats probably because it was one of the first games I played as a kid).

Wow, you did a better job than what I did with Spyro the Dragon. I do admit that I was harsh on the 1st Spyro, because I loved the sequels more, but still can't argue about nostalgia and how important that game was in 1998

This was well done. You covered almost every aspect of what a game review needs and explained them well. Only nitpicks were the music part dragged on a bit and at points it was tricky to hear your voice from the microphone. What also would work is explaining more about the presentation of the game. You covered the audio side, but what about the visuals? But this overall was well planned and written.

@Hentarded well, if you have the Spyro games on disc then they'll work fine on the PS3, but you can't get them off PS Store if you live in the UK. I know, it's the most annoying thing on the UK PS Store.

@Zookstar1000 Well Spyro 2 and sometimes Spyro 3 have audio mess ups on the cutscenes, on Spyro 2 the game made this really irritating beep sound. It only happens on the PS3 to me.

I'm planning on get the 3 original spyro games with the ps1 because the spyro games from 1998 to 2005 are pretty cooler than the new games.
