Please confirm your definition of "soviets" here. I hope you're not referring to the original meaning, which is workplace democracy. I thought anarchists were for that. I sympathise with anarchism, but how can a socialist state survive if it cannot defend itself from counter-revolution? The Paris Commune and Spanish Civil War provided abundant evidence that anarchism cannot protect its citizens from fascism.

I mean as in the Boshlevicks, the USSR. The Boshlevicks crushed the Ukrainian Free Territory and the Hungarian revolution remember. To protect from fascism we can look to Spain, itt was crushed, bu that was from a lack of supplies for the militia, and attacks perpetrated by the Communists. It was a war lost, but not everything can be a victory.

By refusing to relinquish certain ports that they held, they left them open to being seized by the Whites, allowing more troops to come in. Somalia is the only country in the world which is anachist. Soviet Union was a pretty big mess up. However i would rather live in any system then no system. Somalia is a great example of why.

Somalia is a system of warlords fighting eachother. Having a warlord implies hierarchy, authority, and control. The people there do not want to fight over resources, but are driven to because of the warlords. There is no centralized power for the entire country, but rather a system of squabbling dictators.

However just after the central government failed Ethiopia invaded and installed an Islamic Court system, Somalia has been governed by Shair'a law

Only Southen Somalia has an Islamist faction rulling. Also the fact that there is no central goverment in it self is why it's an anarchist country. Infact it's not even recognized as a country anymore i think. I think it's now officialy an autonomous zone. Anarchism is an idea to get rit of a central goverment. There is government (the warlords) it is just many competing governments. Anarchism is an idea to get rid of all hierarchy, warlords violate this making it unanarchistic. The warlords arose because capitalism exists, thus they can export to other countries and compete for the resources. Instead of sharing the resources, one group trys to dominate the area and profit by selling it to other countries, without capitalism this wouldn't happen but as states have not been abolished they still do this.

And there is only 1 goverment in somalia it just does not controll very much. also anachism is just there is no central government. It does not mean there can be no leadership. And a warlord is not a government.

The black market is what I was refering to as a part of capitalism. When things are illegal in other countries, the price goes up. The FARC in Columbia wouldn't be doing so hot if Cocaine were legal in the US. Your right, anarchists aren't opposed to leaders. However we are opposed to leaders who coerce people into doing things they do not wish to do, which in that case they would be government. The warlords force people to follow them, it is not voluntary.
