Lot easier if you beat the game first because there's these 3 podium things that stick up and you climb them and then you land on an Xbox Live orb, agility orb, then finally the hidden orb on the way up

Erm.. It's not a "hidden orb". It's just harder to find ("hidden" orbs appear as blue). I did the same thing as the OP, but I didn't spend 2 minutes staring at it and I used rocket boots so I didn't kill myself.

1:25 on the screen, even says, Collected 56 of 300 hidden orbs.

At 1:24, look at the left side of the helicopter, through the rotor blades.
