@steviebmob that would be the same if you had active pickups or any other battery powered accessory. Thats just how it is with a strat. If you have a guitar with cavity access at the back or a pickgaurd that doesnt sit under the strings, that problem is avoided. Its not really the fault of the product
True bypass my ass! and it needs a battery? so i have to take my pickguard off once a month? no way...and you replace the original pot with your own. is it any good? logaritmic? liniar?
I have these fitted to my Strat & Burns Marvin and it works damn fine. Want to fit it to my Burns Double Six but the pots are a bit close together so will have to get my Luthier to have a look first.
is it a chromatic tuner or just standard tuning? and how often does the battery have to be changed??, would seem like a better setup if the tuner just turned on when the guitar is plugged in instead of battery powered!! seems like a hell of a lot of trouble for the size of it. buy a boss tuner pedal, never let ya down and far easier than tis yoke!! dont think id ever bother with this to be honest but thats just my own opinion!!
OK so Ive thought about the new version of N-Tune, the "Artist Series" where the display ring goes around ur toggle switch instead of the pot They include a toggle switch to let the display ring fit... Now i reckon even if this new version wasn't meant to fit SGs and SG styles it would work- if they still use the long shaft push/pull pot in the kit there is no reason you have to use it and couldnt get ur own SHORT SHAFT switchpot- like on epi LPs. Im now very pleased indeed
I was a little disappointed to find out that N-tune wont fit my guitar--its an SG style. Would the new version for the toggle switch work? or is it the push/pull pot just wont fit?
So if there is a humbucker in the bridge of your guitar you have to use the humbucker version? And if their is a single coil in the bridge of your guitar you have to use a single coil?
N-Tune installs into almost any electric guitar or bass with passive pickups, and is available in kits for both single coil and humbucker-equipped guitars.
And neither have I but it can happen and if ONE person has lost a tuner, then it is a possibility. I take care of my shit so unless it get's stolen, I doubt it would happen to me.
Hey, I've got a guitar that actually has the option to switch back and forth from single coils and humbuckers. Which N Tune should I get for that, or will they not work well with something like that?
N-Tune is absolutely available in a kit for Humbuckers. The Humbucker kit ships with a 500k ohm potentiometer, the Single Coil kit ships with a 250k ohm pot. Both are available for purchase online and in stores around the world. Please let me know if you have trouble locating a dealer near you.

If something isn't connected to a item (such as this), then a person can lose something. Don't tell me you have never lost anything.
