  • I bajan and i thought his accent was caribbean until i see him.

  • Typically Brilliant

  • This record was the scourge of UK club and pub discos that year. Note the all white 'Coconut Airways' flight crew and the two token black backing vocalists and the 'singer's' cod Jamaican accent. Truly bokeworthy...

  • @macmaghnusa

So true lol, I was living in the Brixton mentioned in this song so Ive got quite strong memories of this -Brixton has a very high West Indian community

  • Great song. The singer looks seriously uncomfortable in this performance. A burst of sunshine from the mid-70s. Thanks for posting.

  • @ray3mondo You are right he looks as nervous as hell!

  • live vocal it seems

  • Cool tune! And love his accent as well.

  • looll the guy on the guitar is ma mates dad

  • Makes Milli Vanilli look like a virtuoso act.

  • On the record of this song I was one of the people who sang 'whoa!'. I was a tape operator in Morgan Studios and worked on this record.

  • I'm not really in this at all...... I think you see my watch..
