  • why would anyone dislike this video?

  • your girlfriend was sloping my cock

  • @KelferMookie SHOW FUCKING RESPECT FUCKER!

  • can someone help me out. in the first problem i understand everything up to 5=16/5+b but i don't know how he comes to b=25/5-16/5 =9/5

  • Your a hero to the teens who have trouble with reading this stuff.

  • thannks so muchh! ;D

  • 5=16/5+b

    -b=-5+16/5

    b=5-16/5

    b=9/5

    He skipped some steps...

  • @turboisken

    Thank you! I didn't understand how he came to 25-16/5 but now it makes sense, so when ever you're equation starts with - you change the signs in the equation and eliminate the - right ?

  • in the first equation shouldn't it be negative 8?

  • He is not an Indian. He is a Bangladeshi American.

  • @nycmogul

    Same thing.

  • HE SAYS GRAPH AND IT AUTOMATICALLY APPEARS

    HE IS OBVIOUSLY A GOD.

  • 2x+5=y

    x=y-8

    Slope

  • i too was understanding this whole thing untill he confused me at the 5 to 16/5=b

  • I understand the 25 but why do you have to subtract the 16, and than devide by 5?

  • @leo3k, and @Seattle206723, okay from the step 5 = 16/5 + b, he brought the '5' over to the left hand side making it a negative, like this: 16/5 + b - 5, then he moved the 'b' over to the right hand side making the equation like this: b = 16/5 - 5, from there he just subtracted the fractions 16/5 with 5/1.

  • how did it 16/5 become 25/5?

  • white power

  • @sgsfdgfsdfsdfsddf he is Indian! and it doesnt matter anyway...so grow up!

  • @lamijoe He is not an Indian he is Bangladeshi.

  • At 5:44 he went from 5= 16/5 +b to b= 25-16/5. How is that possible to get 25? I know he skipped a step, but I didn't know you could possibly rewrite it to 5*5 from a fraction stand point. I would think you were taking 16/5 * 5/1. Not 5*5 when it is rewrote.

    Please explain somone.

  • "imma do this fast, cause youtube puts a 10 minute limit on me" LOL i love SAL Khan <3

  • thnx i understand now how to solve a slope :D

  • wow this helps a lot

  • my teacher has lots of things 2 learn from uu

  • this is ganna help me pass my midterm

  • why the hell schools make this stuff difficult.? and this video make it very simple, and people pay in schools.... hmmm. Okay Khan, you need to clone yourself so that you can teach this so great teacher how to teach..heheh..

  • u rule,khan!!!!!!!

  • You make math so easy

  • I have a question, I'm just reviewing basic algebra because I'm entering Algebra 2 Next year. When they taught me slope, they taught me that I needed to take the square root of : x1^2 multiplied by x2^2/ y1^2 multiplied by y2^2. Is there any scenerio where there awnser is different if you square it or not? I've always done it your way, but are there any special situations?

  • than u mr.GENUISSS

  • teachers should learn from you, you have so many positive energy, thanks you very much

  • wouldnt it be so much positive energy?

  • I was just wandering what kind of program you use to do your lessons. I was going to use the program to do problems on instead of using paper and pencil. Your Videos rock!

  • yeah me too-- what do you use?

  • thxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • i love ur videos..ur voice and ur style..its amazing!!

  • I love watching these videos.

  • Great lesson!

  • I don't understand how you got a 25 in the first problem.

  • I know its been a while since you asked your question but this might be a little help. he subtracted 16/5 from both sides and he got 5-16/5 ,then he took the common denominator 5 and multiplied it with 5..so he got 25. I might have confused you more but thats all I can say about it.

  • thanks alot Khan..I mean it was reallly hard for me to figure out slope of a line..butnot anymore i got all the formulas and coordinates right..You Rock..awesome tnx alot..

  • thanx for  this

  • your totally my hero, thanks to your vidio i was able to pass my freshman year, thank you so much

  • Wow great thank you you have helped me with your knowlegde !!!! :D

  • I'm interested in it.. :-)
