The best equipped-- not to mention UNcluttered ham shack ever seen. Something we all can strive for! I could spend days in that shack without coming out for sunlight!!!! AI4QT in Huntsville, AL 73
Boy are you ever right about that! The Radio club I belong to got a real deal on a FT-920. When I saw how big it was, I couldn't believe it ... and yep ... plenty of knobs too!! I got the last one that HRO had! The receiver in it is fantastic and it is very sensitive all the way down to 100 KHz.
Josh, I'm going to put a little more on about ATV in the next week or two. I've been into it for over 30 years. It's really a lot of fun. I know that anyone can do it on the Internet now, but broadcast TV is different. Not jerky, immediate response from the person you're talking to ... and the picture can be very good. Check out "Amateur Television" on Google, you'll find folks up in your area who are on.
Very nice layout. You have spend a lot of time building your complex shack. I like the dual L shapes, shop on one side, radios on the other side. Any idea of your power consumption? I remember my Dad saying that his power bill dropped when I moved out and took the radio with me! Randy
WOW!! Nice setup!

Excellent tour , and I couldn't agree more about the hateful intrusion of small buttons on electronics!

I don't like to think about the power consumption part! Probably like having the toaster plugged in 24/7 HI!
