it is not, it's the non branded Nokia firmware. The theme was created by myself, it's not made by Vodafone.

The 5310 has a better Firmware and a better quality camera. And you are not bound to the expensive Memory Mini Sticks, this phone uses Micro SD like many phones do. And you can use any type of the normal headphones that a MP3 player uses. the slightly longer ones are also supported. So yes it is.

Thanks. You are right, but the best way is a special lock (mechanical switch) for music keys. I want use that phone like my old mp3 player - change volume or track in my pocket..

I bought the blue version yesterday and I have to say that I'm quite surprised.

The battery lasts for so many hours, its amazing the fact that a small battery like that can last for so long.

The interface is really cool and simple. But what I like most is the quality of the image. Its so good, its like I'm seeing it on a computer.

Sound, memory...all great. I really can't find the right words. And It's not expensive.

The only problem is the camera. Its a little bit slow.

hmm hard one...The Shine is made for style,not for music really, the w580i is for music but costs quite a bit extra just because of 3G, the 5310 is avaible from 79 Pounds.

I wouldn't recomend a specific webpage for that, get Real Player, it can download any video from any page and then get the "Free FLV Converter"(search that in google) and convert it to 3GP!You can do dat with any video!

The camera works fine, it just has low video quality, it isnt supposed to freeze, if it does reinstall the update or update if you still have the old version.

It does not freeye at all, this bug has been fixed with the new update 5.82.enter *#0000# for software version.

Hey I was wondering, I had an old phone(kinda new actually) it came out this november, it was a Samsung Blast. With that phone I was able to connect to my friends phones with Bluetooth and transfer files, I checked on the website and it only says Stereo Bluetooth and not Bluetooth Transfering like it did on my Blast, I was just wondering if I could still transfer files with friends with my phone if I got this.

Yes, the Nokia 5310 supports File Transfer and Bluetooth Headsets plus quite a few other services, it uses Bluetooth 2.0 which is really fast.Don't worry, it will certainly work!(i do it myself every day)
