How to gobble on a diaphram

saying ticka is how they say to do a mallard feeding call... (I never got it)

but i was told that apposed to a mallard call your supposed to roll your R's into the diaphragm to get a gobble. (Never got it to work)

which is right? and what kind of diaphragm call would work best for cuts and yelps? PLEASE HELP this spring is going to be my first time on my own and my first time calling period. I've been practicing but my diaphragm call that i have is really high pitched I NEED IT LOWER.

figured out how to get the tucka-tucka faster.. tilt the back end of the call to the top of your mouth and the front of it with the rubber/latex down against your bottom lip

If you can't say tucka fast enough, keep practicing.

No auctioneer starts out talking at 65 miles per hour. They get faster with practice.

Try it without the call and go faster and faster. Try kitty, kitty, kitty....most guys can say that much faster. Good luck and click on the ddayavery link and watch all our videos!

Thanks for all the support and comments. I will try and address a few of the more common questions I have been getting...keep it simple when using a call to gobble. Single, double, or cutting type calls work the easiest. Many diaphram calls are designed fancy to fool hunters and not turkeys.

I had a nice gobbler hold up about 50yrds out, he wasn't coming any closer so I tried this technique ....and that's all it took. he was within 10yrds of my ground blind only mins after I gobbled a few times. you can see for yourself check out my most recent video. ( the mouth call gobble isn't on the video but I can assure you that's what brought him in.) Thanks for the tip....its my new secret weapon.

Pretty good. enough to strike a chord with a tom. I have heard a guy i hunted with gobble for over 20 yrs. Very impressive and loud. he has done it on a mouth call. Tellin ya very real sounding. see if I can get him to do it on video.
