The arrangements of the songs on the album (ranging from jazz to big band) are quite good, they just don't fit Pat Boone. Other, more appropriate non-Heavy Metal singers would have had more success. Would have preferred a tribute album with really great jazz and big band singers.

Two things amazed me about this when I first heard it: 1. LOVE the string quartet bookends, especially at the end with the verse from Psalm 23! 2. The fact Pat did this one at all, plus his incorporation of Psalm 23, makes it seem as if it spoke to him in the same way that it spoke to me when it came out the summer I graduated high school. Didn't care for this CD otherwise, but it was interesting to read the liner notes about his days living next door to the Osbournes, and how it led to this!
