Kevin Mooney is still with the band here, on bass, and he was had been replaced by Gary Tibbs(former Roxy Music) by the time Stand and Deliver etc were released. In my opinion, they were better when Mooney was with them, and he was on the "Kings" album, which is epic. They went uber commercial after that,

I love NIN and I like Trent's version a lot...but this was the first time I heard this and it's pretty amazing. The drums and the low end are hauntingly awesome on this version in the verse and Adam is pretty badass here. Yes the chorus is a little poppier, but his voice is great. Wow

I wasn't really that much of an ants fan at the time but i took my young cousin to see them at Manchester Apollo when hey'd gone really pop - Dandy higwayman etc. It was a real family affair, mums an grannies, more like a pantomime. He did Physical for the encore, no fancy lights or costume & mostly in the dark, dressed ina black shirt and black leather pants. He looked like Jim Morrison and ever othe rock god rolled into one and swathed in feedback - and blew everyone away. Unforgettable!
