I just bought these and I think the LAV that comes with captures almost every sound in the room, even being a large commercial ACOUSTICALLY ideal Movie Theater. Hate to have to spend more money on a new LAV after spending $1500.00 on 2 systems.
I didn't even notice he was three legged. I just thought that when he was waiting for the stick to be thrown he was being ancy. As for the mic, that is scary awesome.
What do you suggest to record in stereo? I have the Sony HVR-Z7U and UWP-V6, but it seems I would need two units to record in stereo i.e. from a sound board. Is there one unit that can does this wireless?
That bitch made him go fetch when he has only 3 legs!!! how about i cut off one of her legs and make her run a mile!!! then we will see how fun that is
@SuperGospelGangsta Thanks for asking. The Sennheiser and the Sony system are pretty close in terms of actual sound quality. The Sennheiser G3 is now true diversity, the G2 was not - the G2 we tested on the same day as this video did not have as much range. Although the Sony is less expensive, at the DVeStore see a lot more Sennheiser sales. Call us if you'd like a special price 1-877-353-8077
@jammapcb 1 three legged dog, 1 hot model, and 1 Sony UWP-V6. LOL. You would probably just want the UWP-V1 (same set minus the plug-on transmitter). These would work great with the Zoom h4n. I'd also add a DVcreator Line to Mic cable. Use coupon code "youtube" over at dvestore.com and we'll get you a discount too.
Cute Demo, and Thanks for sharing. Do u think this mic would work well for musicians during a live performance if its attach securely to the mouthpeice of an insturment, such as a flute??
It's been my experience that if you want a great wireless lav mic camera system, you have to spend $400+. The lower end systems tend to have a constant hiss in them, very detectable with pro headphones. The noise floor tends to get worse the cheaper the unit costs.
I agree with this. I bought a Azden WMS-Pro and the sound quality is terrible. They claim to work to 200' but in my experience it barely works past 20'
@Mr19after6 His secret to happiness is that he does not know that he is missing a leg. As far as he's concerned he is running at 100% 100% of the time!
The talent is wearing the bodypack transmitter and you can see the black lavalier (lapel) mic at the top of her shirt. The wireless receiver is on the camera which is 200 feet away.
Thanks for your comment. "RockStar" has a custom made wheel chair now. He can probably run faster than you! He's actually really happy and receives tons of positive comments wherever we take him. People really are amazed at how well he does.
I love this video so much. It's great!

I'm actually really glad the dog was barking, now I know how well it picks up background noise, perfect for pranks!

Throw the stick! :)
Now, how would the mic perform if your lovely model was running around playing Frisbee with the 3-legged dog? (could it be used for light action)

Can you list all the equipment you used please . I'm after a setup for 2 lavaliers into a zoom h4n with a canon 7d for video.

Great video. Great wireless mic.
But seems like, the greatest attraction is the puppy! Hehe. I give 5 stars to the puppy.
Looking forward to own this kind of wireless mic.

Awesome mic. Does it work as well when there are obsticals between the mic and the receiver, say in a busy bar scene?
