  • they ban guns again if icant leave the contry that day i got to war!!

  • @plasticspine Good lord, your grammar and punctuation is atrocious!

  • Im sorry Mitt, but you seem like the guy who will sell me a piece of shit car, but describe it as the best car ever.

  • Obomney. O'Bomber lite? Not going to vote for him or Obama!

  • If the American people are DUMB enough to elect this phony "conservative", they'll get exactly what they deserve, Obama part two.

  • Later, to lick ass, Mitt said he'd been a hunter "pretty much his whole life".

When that bald faced LIE was also exposed, he admitted it was just some "varmints" once when he was 15.

This liar is laughable any way you look at it, doesn't matter which side your on with guns. He is just lying to tell that particular audience ANYTHING IT WANTS TO HEAR!!!

  • Fail!

  • Any American politician who supports gun laws should be automatically questioned for either lack of logic, or more sinisterly, wanting to disarm the population. Mormons should be ashamed of Romney.. but they aren't. They keep pushing and will stop at nothing to install their Mormon Ken Doll into the White House. Joseph Smith clearly stated his intention of doing this long ago.

  • Yes that's what New Hampshire needs. A gun grabbing candidate is definitely a sign of Live Free or Die. Way to go New Hampshire give us this globalist please.

  • Sp basically what youre saying is... You oppose american citizens, many of which have served in the military, they right to obtain legal licensed firearms to carry by a permit gotten though determination of a judge after taking many saftey classes. That makes sence when criminals can get them by the box on the streets illegally with no background checks or hoops.

Mitt Romney- making america safer (than your advrage murderous 3rd world country)

  • GIVE ME RON PAUL OR GIVE ME DEATH!

  • FUCK YOU, SHIT ROMNEY!! FUCK YOU!!!!

  • There are approximately 2.5 million defensive uses (legal) annually in the US. Dipshits like Mitt will only increase criminals having the upper-hand on law abiding citizens. Treasonous. Would someone in government pleas re-read the constitution and it's amendments. For Fucks-Sake!

  • Bad guys do NOT care about gun laws--you are only disarming otherwise good citizens. All the gun laws in the world will not stop the bad guy from purchasing a gun illegally and using it. They do not, however, use them in places where they know good citizens are armed and may defend themselves.

  • @BTReynolds1

The truth many choose to ignore.

  • @BTReynolds1 I am a criminal and I want an AK but I cant find one, I wish they were legal so I had easy access to one. Shoot.

  • @zasabiibasaz I guess you're so stupid you can't score any crack or oxycodone or zanax, either. Fuck progressive liberals, like you, who thought they were makin' some kind of meaningful comment.

  • @nachodaddy ya im too stupid to score crack

  • Ron Paul 2012: Live Free Or die.

  • Romney Sucks.

  • @Jaboie and that's why he will get NH because there are plenty of gun hating citizens there.

  • fuck this asshole its like they want another civil war !!

  • Flipflopping bastard.

  • Herman Cain is just as bad.

  • Every candidate is a puppet except for Ron Paul. Every other candidate flip flops whichever way means votes. Ron Paul supports freedom.

  • In New Orleans after Katrina, the police went mainly into "WHITE NEIGHBORHOODS" to confiscate guns. I've never seen any videos of them going into black neighborhoods getting guns there. Has anyone else seen such videos? I smell a rat here. There seems to be an anti-white bias in gun control&confiscation Wake up white America, they are going to try to take guns from white people first&foremost. New Orleans is a dry run to prove this point.

  • Is he running against obama or with him?

  • sez the guy who has armed protection where ever he goes.

  • Ron Paul 2012

    Live Free or Die!

  • This jerk is a worthless piece of shit and typical of Moron Mormons.

  • I'm assuming that this post will be disliked. Like the Democrats, the GOP has a history of gun control. Unfortunately, the RKBA community has given them too much slack. We tend to forget that as Governor Ronald Reagan signed most of that state's firearms restrictions into law.

  • scumbag.

  • Wrong, wrong, wrong. Cities and states with strict gun laws are far more dangerous than ones that don't. Every house in America should have a handgun, shotgun and a modern sporting rifle. Provided that the residents are law abiding citizens, and have taken some sort of gun safety class. Protecting yourself and your family is a right we should all exercise. Forget about concealed weapons permit, open carry is the way to go.

  • Does he just wanna get elected and then move the GOP to a more moderate stance overall or bring down the party with liberal views? What is it??? How could a guy who supposedly is still liberal decide, "You know what? Rather than move to some other party or become an Indy or make friends with folks who share similar policy goals, I'm just gonna get along with folks o nthe Rgith and become a big conservative star. Who cares if I disagree heavily with them"?

  • What I don't get is why people think Romney, if he's still SOO LIBERAL and moderate and just lies about his views nowadays to PRETEND he's a conservative, is STILL in the GOP! If he's still such a liberal on social issues, why hasn't he, say, joined the DLC or become good friends wtih guys like Bill Clinton? Why is he still such a right-wing star if he's merely a "flip-flopper"? One would think he'd HATE being around them.

  • F#CK that! My gun protects us and our safety!

  • He'll say anything to get elected.

  • BUT GUYS! He was the only true conservative left in the race after Fred Thompson dropped out!

With his role in universal health care in his state and wanting to give a huge bail out to the automotive industry!

How the hell did Ross Perot endorse this garbage... I understand he hated John McCain, we all do, but... *sigh*

  • Do you understand what Universal health care is? I don't think you do. It's a government run health care option, which Massachusetts does NOT have. Mitt Romney did sign health care reform legislation into law for his state which worked and does not hurt the private sector.

Mitt Romney also NEVER wanted to bail out the auto industry. In fact, he was one of the biggest opponents of doing so and said that structured bankruptcy was the only option. Turned out he was right.

    Mitt Romney 2012!

  • actually universal healthcare does hurt every citizen. the people who will use the state sponsored care will mostly be welfare cases and lazy people who have never been employed. now who do you think is gonna foot that bill for their care??? they sure as hell aren't or they wouldn't need it in the first place. Mitt is a moron. If you think universal healthcare and gun control are good things then just look at Nazi Germany, Stalin era Soviet Union and the entire history of China...

  • Gun laws won't ever help. get over yourself Mitt Romney you nazi

  • Romney is a queer.

  • "I'll gladly tell you the murder rates for the UK, US" --

There's a problem and I'll bring you back to it. The UK and Australia both have the HIGHEST violent crime victimization rate in THE WORLD (industrialized or otherwise). They didn't have this distinction BEFORE they banned guns

  • Go to a picture or Mitt Romney. Load GTA Vice City. Tune the radio to LCFR, and listen to politician, Alex Shrub for ten seconds. Open your eyes.

  • Ron Paul 2008,vote for Ron Paul then.

Mitt Romney should go hunting with Cheney.

  • yupp he's right ! i believe he'll do some really great things...

  • These days Romney has his flip-flops on! He sounds like a republican John Kerry!

  • Or outright lie like Bush and Cheney. Those rats lied 935 times on the runup to the Iraq War alone.

  • What a ditz!

    Loser.

  • Mitt is great! He responded perfectly! Everyone was laughing, they thought he was doing well.

Mitt is articulate, he has a law degree AND business degree from Harvard, and graduated valedictorian from his undegraduate school. He made his businesses and the Olympics do well when he joined them. Everything he is touching turns to gold, and our country needs that.

    Go Mitt!

  • this guy needs a bullet to the dome

  • I'm reporting your threat to the FBI.

  • @Truthbandit Statements like yours hurt us (RKBA supporters) and our cause. I suspect your are either a non-thinker or a Bloomberg Campaign supporter who is really trying to make us look like the mainstream media's stereotype of us. Calling for another human's murder is really bad. Please don't give our enemies more ammunition to use against us.

  • He is a fucking shitbag...Will the GOP actually put up a real constitutional Conservative who is NOT affiliated with the CFR,TC,Bilderbergers or the freaking cult of Mormonism. Mitt needs to stay home and wash his holy long johns.

  • Another video Romney does not want you to see:

    /watch?v=j2b1N74bQUE

  • What a freakin liar!!

  • komodore earlier said "Leave catching the criminal to the cops, and walk away with your life."

Yeah, that worked out really well for the victims in this Nebraska shooting huh? 22 people shot before police even get there...because the killer was the only one with the gun.

  • Guns are relatively rare in Canada. Why hasn't they had 22 people killed in a mall lately?

  • "Guns are relatively rare in Canada. Why hasn't they had 22 people killed in a mall lately?" --

Guns are "relatively rare" in many countries, and most of them have higher violent crime victimization rates than the USA. Britain and Australia for example. The USA doesn't even make the top ten for violent crime victimization

There are many reasons Canada has a lower crime rate, including that they have much lower population, while our crime is focused in a handful of population centers.

  • On the list that I have the US is 24th most violent out of 62. So most countries DO NOT have a higher victimization rate.

Do you think crime is centered in population centers because that is where the people are located? The 2003 FBI crime stats. have LA, MS, NV and AZ as 4 of the top 5 states for murder. I wouldn't consider any of these high population centers.

  • "the US is 24th most violent out of 62. So most countries DO NOT have a higher victimization rate" --

You referred to 2 different stats as if they were the same thing. I'd be interested in seeing the gun policy in the most violent countries. The UK and Australia have the strictest gun control and they top the lists in violent crime victimization. Among the economically powerful democracies in the Group of Seven, only the Japanese have a lower victimization rate than the United States.

  • I was refering to per capita murder rates. I realize murder isn't the only type of violent crime but I'm sure you would agree that it has a strong correlation. The most violent countries per capita are Columbia and South Africa. I don't know their gun laws but their reputation is for lax gun laws. Do you agree?

  • "The most violent countries per capita are Columbia and South Africa. I don't know their gun laws but their reputation is for lax gun laws. Do you agree?" --

Colombia (spelled with an 0, not a u) has had a civil war that's destroyed its political systems and infrastructure and we all know about the turmoil that S. Africa has gone through.

To get an adequate comparison, you would need to compare industrialized democracies, which shows the USA to be in relatively good shape

  • "LA, MS, NV and AZ as 4 of the top 5 states for murder. (They're not) high population centers" --

When we're talking about VIOLENT CRIME, it's fallacious to bring up ONE TYPE of violent crime and then extrapolate that to the whole

Plus, LA has New Orleans, a very violent city. NV has Las Vegas. Our crime is still focused in large cities, many of them having the strictest gun control (take Washington DC where guns are banned for instance)

  • From the 2006 FBI Uniform Crime Stats.:

Dallas has 120.6 violent crimes per 10,000- very lax gun laws.

Atlanta has 155.4- I believe they have lax gun laws.

New York City has 63.8- strict gun laws.

Portland, OR has 71.4- strict gun laws. So your correlation kinda runs aground or maybe you have higher authority then the FBI. FYI, Washington DC (your example has 144) which is high but still below Atlanta. I will concede that in raw numbers NYC does have more crime then rural Smithfield, NC.

  • Compare those to London, where guns are banned and tell me what you come up with :)

  • I'll gladly tell you the murder rates for the UK, US and Canada. Sorry, but I don't have time to find London's violent crime rate (I DO have a life outside of youtube). Besides I think it is a little like comparing apples to oranges in such that what constitutes a violent crime, how are they recorded, etc. Murder is a lot more clear cut.

Anyways, the US has a .043 per 1,000; UK has a .014; and Canada has a .0149. Looks like it's my point.

  • It does seem that you are making a direct cause and effect case. Just interested, what are your references? Do they have good methodology?

  • "Just interested, what are your references? Do they have good methodology?" --

You can look up the study finding that the violent crime victimization rate is super-high in Britain and Australia where guns are banned. It's caled the "International Crime Victims Survey" conducted by Leiden University in Holland.

  • I did the same study once for a course. It's the British Home office report from last year.....compare total rates with the FBI UCR for the same time. US is around 3.8% for TOTAL violent crime....GB is around 24% for the same.....I kid you not and did not believe it at first...but it is confirmed. You are 6 times more likely to be mugged or raped in London than NY city.

  • This is no excuse for the higher murder rate (the only stat the US leads in) that has been credited to the moral mindsets and the way children are raised as opposed to England. Violence is an unfortunate side effect of a "melting pot" society, Great Britain will unfortunately increase and pass the US in the future.

  • yup...thats why when Brits got their guns taken all that happened was they started stabbing and beating each other...great improvment...lol

  • Yes, I do know that New Orleans is in LA and Las Vegas is in NV. To complete your lesson: Jackson is in MS and Phoenix is in AZ. The causes for violent crime/murder is multi-faceted but your correlation between these crimes and the gun laws is debunked by the FBI crime figures. I realize the gun lobby likes to point to Washington DC as an example because with limited information it does look damning. Maybe they should factor in the drug epidemic, poverty, bad schools, corrupt officals, etc.

  • Ironic (ironic in that I think Guiliani is a blowhard) that NYC has very strict gun laws and yet their crime rates have dropped dramatically in recent years. I will point out that the credit mostly goes to Chief Kelly. This is just another fact that blows a hole in your theory about correlation between gun laws and violent crime/ murder.

  • "Ironic (ironic in that I think Guiliani is a blowhard) that NYC has very strict gun laws and yet their crime rates have dropped dramatically in recent years" --

Crime has dropped EVERYWHERE in the USA in the last 15 years, and it's due to a lot of things, including longer sentences, right to carry legislation, a better economy, etc, etc.

  • Your contention is (if I understand it) gun regulation laws cause violent crime and/or murder rates to rise. There is no direct cause and effect; yes, it is multi factored. I know the gun lobby does try to frame it as a direct cause and effect.

  • "Your contention is (if I understand it) gun regulation laws cause violent crime and/or murder rates to rise" --

It's an unprovable assertion, but it makes sense to me that that would be the case, and the correlations seems to back it up.

Even without the #'s, it makes sense to me because criminals will use guns whether or not they're illegal (that's proven) but the law-abiding will not. Criminals (or tyrannical governments) prefer unarmed victims.

  • Was he lying then or is he lying now? Hard to tell with Romney. Could be either. Could be both.

Even with his recent "conversion" to believing in individual rights and the 2nd Amendment, Romney still supports ALOT of gun control, including a federal gun ban.

  • Well my american friend, since im not from America i may be a little ignorant and uninformed, but what is clear to me is that America has a problem with the lack of gun control, the numbers dont lie, all over USA people get killed by gunfire as we speak, or in this case, write. Shootings in the news are big stuff here in Norway, but in the US it seems like an everyday thing, ive been there. In Norway we have very strict gun control, maybe i could have a small tiny point?

  • "what is clear to me is that America has a problem with the lack of gun control, the numbers dont lie, all over USA people get killed by gunfire as we speak" --

America has a lower violent crime rate than most industrialized democracies. Gun control increases, not decreases, crime. Australia and The UK just learned that recently as their violent crime rates continue to skyrocket after their gun bans.

  • I cant believe I live in MA, I hate that man

  • ron paul baby, the only one who truly wants to protect the constitution and the 2nd amendment!

    ron paul in 2008!!

  • You guys just dont get it do you? Why does the US have so many problems with homicides and shootings in schools? Maybe because its so fucking easy to get hold of guns and ammo? Leave catching the criminal to the cops, and walk away with your life instead of trying to shoot, and maybe get shot in the process.

  • "Leave catching the criminal to the cops, and walk away with your life" --

Sorry, not all of us want to be nannied like you. Cops don't prevent crimes, they investigate them. They don't stop school shootings, they draw chalk outlines. If you want to stop a crime, you'll need to be ready to protect yourself. Not doing so may PREVENT you from "walking away with your life"

The idea that gun violence will go down if you ban guns has been proven wrong. Over and over again. Case in point: The UK

  • So you are telling me that the presence of cops dont prevent crimes? And dont you think that school shootings could be prevented by, for example, making it harder to get hold of guns or even assault rifles, even without a license? If you pull out a gun doesnt the chance of being shot yourself increase? The constitution was written over 200 years ago, you will have to adapt it to a modern day society which is completely different than what it was back then.

  • "So you are telling me that the presence of cops dont prevent crimes?" --

Cops are not everywhere at once and, while a criminal may be deterred from doing a crime WHILE the cop is present, if a person wants to shoot up a place, they will do it. When seconds count, the police are only minutes away

John Adams said "Arms in the hands of the citizens may be used at individual discretion for the defense of the country, the overthrow of tyranny or **private self-defense**"

  • "So you are telling me that the presence of cops dont prevent crimes?" --

Cops are not everywhere at once and, while a criminal may be deterred from doing a crime WHILE the cop is present, if a person wants to shoot up a place, they will do it. When seconds count, the police are only minutes away

John Adams said "Arms in the hands of the citizens may be used at individual discretion for the defense of the country, the overthrow of tyranny or private self-defense"

  • "dont you think school shootings could be prevented by making it harder to get hold of guns" --

No. Anyone who believes that is simply uninformed

"If you pull out a gun doesnt the chance of being shot yourself increase?" --

People who are unfamiliar with guns have the weirdest ideas. If you put a swimming pool in your backyard, your chances of drowning increase too. Accidental gunshot deaths are negligible; almost nil.

  • A gun in the home is 43 times more likely to kill a family member or friend then it is to kill an intruder. Not exactly negligible. The presence of a gun in the house increases the chance of a homicide 3 fold and suicide 5 fold. N. E Journal of Medicine

  • "gun in the home is 43 times more likely to kill a family member or friend then it is to kill an intruder" --

That study VASTLY understates the # of defensive uses of guns by only counting the defensive uses if the intruder/rapist/kidnapper is killed. 99.9% of defensive don't involve even FIRING the gun

Dr. Kellerman also says that houses with guns have more homicide/suicide, but ignored HIS OWN data indicating there were enough false denials of gun ownership to reverse this result

  • The same study indicates that when used against an intruder or hostile that the weapon is near 90% effective whether a shot is fired or not.

Chemical bleach kept in low cabinets kill more children each year.

  • How effective is a barking dog, working burglar alarm system, or vigilant neighborhood watch program?

  • "The constitution was written over 200 years ago, you will have to adapt it to a modern day society"

Right, modern day people have no rights. We're complete wards of the state.

This is what it comes down to, people. People who don't believe in an individual right to self defense (which was a basic human right guaranteed in the 2nd Amendment) fundamentally don't believe in the idea of America. They don't believe that people are "endowed by their creator with certain INALIENABLE RIGHTS"

  • You're wrong about the 2nd amendment. Read the whole thing, it begins, " A well regulated militia..." Two SC cases, 18 US Court of Appeals, 5 US District Court cases and numerous state court cases oppose your uninformed opinion.

  • "You're wrong about the 2nd amendment. Read the whole thing, it begins, " A well regulated militia..."" --

"I ask, sir, what is the militia? It is the *WHOLE PEOPLE* except for a few public officials" -- George Mason, Father of the Bill of Rights

Further, the first clause of the 2A is a independant ablative clause and changes nothing about the second clause. Learn some grammar

  • Maybe you can explain this to all the judges that ruled counter to your argument.

  • Typical gun grabbing commie.

Just like Rudy Giuliani and YES, Hillary Klinton.

  • Socialist RINO

  • And thats why Mitt will NEVER get my vote. Go FRED!

  • Safe for CRIMINALS. But hey, chances are you'll change your mind soon. What great leadership potential.

  • I love how the Romney supporters try to explain Romney's liberal extremism by saying "hey, he was LYING to the voters of MA when he ran for senate and governor. He had to lie to get elected, but he's ACTUALLY on our side."

It's a really great way to introduce your candidate: "How do we know he's a conservative? Because we ALSO know he's a liar!!"

  • what a dick. he voted for the assault weapons ban. what a success that was! tell your friends about this flip flop mormon son of a bitch before they mistakenly vote for him.

  • he's talking about gun laws (registration, safty courses, manufacturing...) he's not necesarily saying he's anti 2nd amdmnt. he's pro gun anti-assult weaopns, he's never denied that. and to imply that he's just anti-gun is not very christian and discredits the poster of this vedio and his agenda

  • "he's pro gun anti-assult weaopns" --

Please show me the "assault weapon" clause in the 2nd Amendment. Otherwise, I will continue to say that Romney is anti-2nd Amendment.

Of course with a slimeball like Romney, it's impossible to know WHAT he actually believes because what he says changes depending on what office he's seeking.

  • Bullshit! Gun-laws only add violence because no-one can be defended. The black-market can be easily accessed by criminals and the like!
