True, the old testament has cruel passages, but Jesus Christ had the intelligence to abolish it and created a new covenant based on love. The Gospels are a message of peace. On the other hand the Qurun is 7 centuries after christianity and instead of being more peaceful it is even crueler than the old testament. were is the religion of peace, all religions have a hate/love relationship. war is part of religion to spread the word and to control their followers/other people. so who can you beleive in when these things are happening.were is god for a peaceful world.
