The most thing I like about Melanie is that not only can she sing extremely well! She chooses songs that she has the voice to sing! That, counts a lot when its a singing competition. You don't need to take on a song that you cannot control when you are singing against other contestants.

From watching the show, here are my thoughts on the remaining 4. Chris seems to be taking his talents to the limit and most people seem to like him so I think he is going to win it. Can't believe Marcus is at the bottom every week because he along with Melanie are next in line with the crowd. Josh is also a very talented musician as well as a unique singer but I don't like most of his song choices. Josh should sing that first song he song at the auditions that the audience acknowledged him for.

Melanie didn't hold back on anything, she sang it the way it was supposed to and even better than Whitney at the end. Mariah and Whitney didn't do much better than Melanie singing this live.
