  • This song is one of my favorites to help me wake up for the day. It's so much fun and, of course, Faron is terrific. This is good to dance to, also. I've been wondering who wrote this one. I don't believe it was Pee Wee King but I'm not sure. Thanks once more for posting this one by "The Sheriff". - Paula

  • @twinPaula12, It was written by Rex Griffin. Thanks for visiting.

  • Thanks a million for letting me know the writer of this fun song.

Our band at the American Legion Post where I am a member has been doing this song ever since I mentioned it to them. They don't do it quite this fast but it's been fun to watch the "expert" jitterbuggers go to town with it. I love the old standards like this happy one - we don't get much of it these days. - Paula

  • Faron sounds great here, as always. This old fun song has been one of my favorite memories for many years. he band is great - I can just picture that old upright bass fiddle that sounds terrific. I love the old Wurlitzer juke boxes. We have one of the "originals" (style that is) and even tho it's too expensive to repair it looks wonderfully colorful and so nostalgic in our place. A very popular western swing band in my town years ago sang this as their theme song. I love it. Thank you. -Paula
